This year, for the first time, we’re introducing a 10 km course at the K24 Ultra Trail!

The start will take place on Friday, August 7th, 2026, in front of the Cultural Centre in Črna na Koroškem, right in the heart of the main event venue.

The course begins along the main road toward Mežica. In Mušenik, it turns left towards Pikovo, then follows the same route as the 100 km course, crossing the bridge toward the entrance of the Underground of Peca, but instead of entering, it turns sharply right uphill onto a gravel road leading toward the Špan and Gutovnik farms. Once reaching the meadows, beautiful views open up towards Peca and the surrounding peaks of the legendary K24 trail. After just under 4 km, the route turns left and continues along a pleasant forest path to the Koča na Pikovem hut (5.2 km), where the only refreshment station on the course is located.

Next comes the familiar and varied ridge section, also part of the 24 km race, followed by a wild and technically interesting descent toward Pristava. From there, runners face about 1.5 km of asphalt road leading to the finish line at the Cultural Centre.

Awards Ceremony: 20:00
Prizes will be awarded in three age categories and overall.

Men / Women Categories:
– up to 35 years
– 36 to 50 years
– 51 years and over

The top three overall men and women will receive trophies and practical prizes.
The top three in each men’s and women’s age category will receive medals and practical prizes.

The course is moderately demanding, scenic, and fun to run — ideal for anyone who wants to experience the true energy of the K24 weekend in a shorter yet still authentic trail adventure.

The start of the K24 10 km race is on Friday, August 7th, 2026, at 5:00 PM.

The maximum number of participants for this course is 300.

Entry Fee:
EARLY REGISTRATION – October 1st, 2025 – December 31st, 2025 – €20
REGULAR REGISTRATION – January 1st, 2026 – May 31st, 2026 – €25
LATE REGISTRATION – June 1st, 2026 – July 31st, 2026 – €30

Your registration is confirmed once the entry fee has been paid.

Registration is also possible on the day of the race until 16:00. The entry fee is €30, but it does not include a personalized race bib or the official event T-shirt.

Elite Runners:
Women:
UTMB Index > 600 – 50% discount on the regular price
UTMB Index > 700 – free entry

Men:
UTMB Index > 700 – 50% discount on the regular price
UTMB Index > 800 – free entry

Please send us your UTMB Index to k24trail@gmail.com and we will send you the appropriate registration code.

Registrations will be accepted in the order of received payments until the maximum number of participants is reached. Category changes are possible until July 31st, 2026, but entry fee differences are non-refundable. A course change, runner change, or any modification to the registration will incur an additional fee of 10€.

Race Bib Pick-Up
Race bibs can be collected with a valid ID on:
August 6th, 2026 – from 16:00 to 21:00
August 7th, 2026 – from 10:00 to 16:00

Bib pick-up will take place at the start area (Cultural Centre Črna na Koroškem). During bib pick-up/registration, every runner must personally sign the registration form — no one can sign on behalf of another runner.

The race bib must be worn on the upper part of the body, over clothing, and must always be clearly visible.
